Founder and President Katherine (Katie) Brind’Amour, PhD, MS, CHES, worked in public health before writing full-time, and has more than 12 years of experience writing about health, science, and medicine. She obtained her PhD in Health Services Management and Policy (with a minor in Health Behavior and Health Promotion) at The Ohio State University. She has a BS/MS in Biology and Society, and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).

Katie has worked with 18 of the world's top 25 pharmaceutical companies, as well as some of the nation’s leading hospitals, international medical device companies, universities, independent physicians and researchers, and many others. 

HealthWords Ltd. offers clients the opportunity to work directly with Katie or one of her highly collaborative team members under her oversight as medical director.
